My faith has been shaped not only by studying Scripture, but by experiencing God’s faithfulness through difficult seasons of family life. I came from a complicated childhood marked by abuse and abandonment, and I have also walked through challenges in my own marriage and family. Those experiences have taught me that faithful families are not perfect families. They are families learning to tell the truth, extend grace, repair what has been broken, and keep turning toward God and one another.

Romans 12:2 guides much of my coaching work because lasting change begins with the renewing of our minds. I am also deeply influenced by Ephesians 4:15, which calls us to speak the truth in love, and Galatians 6:1, which describes restoration as a work of gentleness and humility. These passages remind me that biblical truth should never be separated from compassion, wisdom, or honest self-examination.

In coaching sessions, I help clients consider both what Scripture teaches and how their beliefs, interpretations, emotions, and choices affect their relationships. We may explore communication patterns, family history, boundaries, conflict, repentance, forgiveness, and practical ways to rebuild connection. I do not use Scripture as a quick answer that dismisses pain or pressures someone to remain in an unsafe or destructive pattern. Instead, I draw from the whole counsel of Scripture to help clients pursue truth, responsibility, wisdom, and Christlike love.

My role is not to tell clients what decisions to make or to rewrite their story for them. I help them recognize the stories and patterns shaping their lives, discern what faithfulness looks like in their circumstances, and take practical steps toward healthier relationships. I believe God’s grace meets us in the reality of our lives—and that even deeply rooted patterns can change as we walk in truth, humility, and hope.
