I  studied to be a Special Education Educator with Learning Disabilities and Behavioral Disorders as my area of specialty. I then received my MS. in Emotional Disabilities. In 2021 I retired early when my husband was diagnosed with early onset Dementia. He has now been identified with Lewy Body Dementia and has Parkinsonian like symptoms and I have become his full time caregiver.

Romans 8:28-29 has been a verse that my husband and I have kept close to our hearts through our marriage. While going through our trials we do not always see the good that that is working. Bur God does work ALL things for our good. I attended an Extraordinary Women’s Conference and was given information on the Mental Health Coaching. I knew that God had drawn me to this conference to find my new purpose. It has been a difficult journey of staying focused while being a fulltime caregiver.

Through Light University I earned  a Master Diploma in Mental Health Coaching with a specialty in  Grief and Loss. Along with my Mater’s Diploma I have also finished my certification in Professional Mental Health Coaching.

I welcome coming alongside those who have suffered a loss and are still grieving. My heart is especially called to provide a safe space for spouses and other caregivers of loved ones with Dementia. I see you, I hear you, I understand.
