My mission is to come alongside those who have suffered a loss and are grieving. My heart wants to provide a safe space for spouses and other caregivers of loved ones with Dementia. I see you, I hear you, I understand.

I became my husbands full time caregiver Nov. of 2021, He was diagnosed with early onset dementia in Dec,  2019. By June of 2024 his dementia was classified as Lewy Body with Parkinsonian symptoms.  I have grieved many losses during this time and felt the pains of prolonged grief.

Through Light University I earned  a Master Diploma in Mental Health Coaching with a specialty in  Grief and Loss.  In addition I earned my certification in Professional Mental Health Coaching.

Before retiring I was a Special Education Educator with Learning Disabilities and Behavioral Disorders as my area of specialty. I received my Master’s Degree in Emotional Disabilities. I taught for a total of 21 years and retired early when his symptoms worsened after the first two years of being diagnosed.

Romans 8:28-29 has been a verse that my husband and I have kept close to our hearts through our marriage. While going through our trials we do not always see the good that that is working. Bur God does work ALL things for our good. As he has shown me a purpose to reach out to those who are grieving.
