My personal story is about redemption, healing, discipleship, education and purpose.  My journey has been a testimony to the transforming power of God’s grace in my life.  As a teenager, I experienced significant challenges that shaped the course of my life. At age 16, I was permanently expelled from school having only reached the 8th grade. I then became a young mother at age 17 and had another child at age 19. I lived in poverty and spent years trying to overcome the limitations of my past. There were seasons of extreme hardships, rejection, emotional wounds, and uncertainty about the of me and my children. At the age of 23, I gave my life to Christ and submitted myself under His Lordship. That decision changed everything for us. Over the years, God began a process of healing, restoration, and transformation. He taught me that my past did not define me and that His purpose for my life was greater than my mistakes, disappointments, and struggles. At age 23, I took a course that allowed me to obtain an adult high school diploma.  At age 47, I began a faith journey of education, where I obtained my associate’s degree, a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, along with a Certification in Staff Training & Development and a Certificate in Human Resources Management. Within six years, I accomplished this and graduated with honors. I later served in educational leadership, counseling, ministry and international missions.  My relationship with God, His Word and my story all has driven me to help others in ways that I myself have been helped by God. Every person I counsel or meet with is prayed for before I begin our session. I know that I could not have accomplished all that I have accomplished if it wasn’t for the direct guidance and counsel of the Lord. My most recent accomplishment is, in April of 2026, I received an Honorary Doctor of Arts degree in Ministry.
