Mental Health Coach
About
I help Christians and faith-curious individuals walk through conflict, grief, shame, and life transitions with a gentle, person-centered, faith-rooted approach, drawing deeply from my own journey of loss and long-practiced trust in Jesus.
In 2021, my wife and I lost a son to suicide, a devastating grief that has profoundly shaped my heart for those who suffer in silence. Out of that season, my long-standing faith in Jesus has become even more central—He has been a steady source of redirection, refinement, and acceptance in my own story.
Today, I serve as a licensed Foursquare pastor and Christian coach, walking alongside others who are navigating pain, questions of faith, and the hard work of rebuilding hope. In coaching and pastoral care, I integrate biblical teaching with clear, accessible psycho-education so clients can understand what they’re feeling and why, without shame or stigma. Scripture provides the framework for identity, purpose, and hope, while psychological insight offers language and tools for things like anxiety, shame, grief, and relational patterns.I aim to help followers of Jesus honor God in their inner life as well as their outer decisions, applying truth in practical, step-by-step ways that fit their real circumstances. My coaching is intentionally person-centered: I believe each individual carries God-given capacity for growth, and my role is to create a safe, non-judging space where that capacity can emerge. Sessions are collaborative and conversational rather than prescriptive; I listen carefully, reflect, and ask thoughtful questions that help clients discover next steps aligned with their values and faith.
Whether I’m working with individuals, couples, adolescents, or ministry leaders, I seek to combine empathy, theological depth, and practical coaching skills to help people move from shame and confusion toward clarity, courage, and healthier relationships.
