As an AACC Certified mental health coach and trauma informed care mental health coach, I provide coaching that is faith forward and goals focused. Together with the client I will assist the client in setting realistic goals, and objectives. The clients may be given homework weekly related to meeting their goal objectives. Objectives may include reading scriptures directly from the Bible, joining a group at their church, joining a church, stepping out in faith in some way, writing a letter to their child self or to someone who has hurt them in the past-Letters that they will not send, but are only meant for cathartic purposes. This is just a synopsis of what a client can expect working with me; not the full spectrum. Each person’s experience will vary. I have 18+ years of experience working in community mental health and social services. I have also been a professor of psychology for many years. I have worked with people from all walks of life.
