My goal as a counselor is to help my clients heal from the pain they have experienced in life and learn how to be the best versions of themselves. Life is challenging, but in counseling, clients can learn how to handle those challenges in healthy ways and live a more fulfilling life.
Psalm 147:3 says, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” This verse is a reminder that God wants our broken hearts to be healed, and I think counseling is one of the tools He uses to help us heal.
