HI! I’m Jared, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Cooper Mental Health & Wellness, a telehealth psychiatry practice serving patients across Florida.

My approach to care goes beyond the prescription pad. I take time to understand the whole person — sleep, lifestyle, nutrition, exercise habits, lab work, stressors, and faith. When medication is the right call, I prescribe thoughtfully and conservatively, and I’m just as comfortable working with patients who want to try a non-medication path as well.

As a Christian, I deeply respect the role faith plays in mental and emotional healing. Whether you want to incorporate prayer and scripture into your care or simply want a provider who won’t dismiss what matters most to you, you’ll find that here. I work closely with Christian counselors, pastors, and faith-based care teams across the state of Florida to ensure my patients have a full circle of support — therapy, spiritual care, and psychiatric care working together rather than in isolation.

I treat adolescents and adults for a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, and substance use. I’m especially passionate about serving patients who want a more integrative, whole-person approach to psychiatric care.

New patients can typically be seen within 3-5 days. I currently accept Aetna, Cigna, and cash pay, with additional insurances coming soon.
