My Journey to Christian Mental Health Coaching

I grew up in a home where emotions were suppressed and encouragement was rare. That led me to become avoidant—struggling to form deep connections and carry my pain in silence.

At 26, during the darkest season of my life, I encountered God in a life-changing way. The Holy Spirit and the Word began to transform me from the inside out. Since my conversion in 1997 and ordination in 2008, I’ve spent nearly three decades growing in Christ and serving in ministry—now overseeing 10 churches and holding multiple certifications in Christian leadership and mental health.

I couldn’t ignore the need for emotional and spiritual healing in the Body of Christ. That’s why I became a Christian mental health coach—to help others renew their minds and find healing in Christ.

Romans 12:2 and Isaiah 61 are my foundation: we can be transformed, and God does heal the brokenhearted.

Today, I walk with others as they exchange their ashes for beauty and their despair for praise.
