Growing up in a Christian home and community left me as a young man not desiring to be one person on Sunday and another person throughout the week, so I walked away from God completely. A number of years later, after the death of my grandfather, his words of faith in God grabbed my heart and brought me back into a personal relationship with Jesus. This pursuit of Jesus has led me into pastoral ministry along with counseling and coaching for over 35 years. Even though I may hold a masters in theology and a doctorate in Christian counseling, it is the personal transformation through the Holy Spirit’s work in us as individuals that I seek and long for as I walk through life with others. Hope and healing is alive and well today when Jesus Christ is the center of our lives. I have been married to a wonderful godly women for 47 years, and we are blessed with 3 children and 7 grandchildren. The AACC has helped me continue to learn and grow while serving others.
