I was born and raised in the church, but during the teenage into college years, I lost my way and my focus was on my self. Which only led me to a life full of selfishness that just increased my fear and anxiety. I was insecure, eager to please, and had no focus or motivation in life. In my mid 20s I met a couple of guys who loved Jesus, and they invited me to a Bible study. I started attending … and long story short, I started going back to church and reading my Bible. The more I read and understood, the more I felt God’s peace, love, joy and direction in my life. The fruit of God’s Word working in my life has brought me through some hard times and decisions. But it’s worth it because it’s the living word, active – and the Holy Spirit will use it to produce peace in my life and yours. Helping others will always involve inviting them to discover the fruit of the Word of God. Right now two verses in my life that are important and that we would work through are Lamentations 3:22 and Isaiah 26:3. If you want to start to experience peace, start meditating on these two verses.
