My name is Thomasena Kelly. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) in the state of South Carolina. I have several years of experience working in the counseling profession, providing individual, family, and group therapy to address a variety of mental health and addiction challenges. My employment history includes working several years with individuals dealing with addictive behaviors, and serving individuals with mental health diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief; as well other distressing issues impairing one’s daily functioning.

Beyond my credentials and experience, I am a fun loving person, who enjoys interacting with others to help them navigate through life. I strongly believe that treatment should entail an approach that is relative to each person’s needs. I do; however, incorporate motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral techniques, from a Spiritual aspect, that I believe will be helpful to assess thinking patterns and behaviors that sometimes disrupts the overall functionality of one’s life. My love for Jesus Christ has taught me how to be passionate about empowering individuals to seek internal strength, to make changes that will produce positive results. My services are provided in a safe and welcoming environment, whether virtual or in person to ensure that individuals feel they can fully discuss their concerns without judgment or bias.
