Life can lead us to unexpected places—some joyful and others more challenging. Having experienced this personally, I understand the complexities that different seasons of life can bring and the value of having a supportive counselor. As Christians, we recognize that suffering is part of our journey, but sometimes, we may need more support than our current social systems can provide. My journey has deepened my understanding of the necessity for support and guidance when confronting these challenges. I am here to support you, just as others have supported me on my path. Together, we can heal, grow, flourish, and help others do the same.

As I entered the “empty nest” season of life and visited my grandmother for her 90th birthday, I began reflecting on the meaning and purpose of the next chapter. What can I do with all my life experiences? How can I help others navigate their difficult, often unwanted, life experiences, personal challenges, and relationship struggles? This reflection led me to pursue my dream of becoming a counselor. I graduated from Houston Christian University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May 2024. I am a licensed professional counselor associate, supervised by Mark Cagle Jr., MA, LPC-S, while I work toward full licensure.

I primarily work with individual adults facing various challenges, including attachment injuries, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, grief, and trauma. Additionally, I am trained to support grieving adolescents and teens who are experiencing difficulties due to relationship loss or death.

My counseling approach is tailored to each individual, drawing from various therapeutic modalities such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). I am also trained in Multidimensional Grief Therapy (MGT), SAFE EMDR, and Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS). If requested, I can provide services within an explicitly Christian framework.

I believe in lifelong learning and transformation, which enables me to expand my professional offerings to meet client needs better. It is my honor to offer clients a safe, virtual space to navigate life’s challenges. I look forward to embarking on this counseling journey with you soon!
