What Is Therapy?
Therapy is a collaborative process where you work with a trained professional to navigate challenges that may be holding you back from living a fulfilling life. Starting therapy is a powerful first step toward becoming the healthiest version of yourself—emotionally, mentally, and relationally.

Whether you’re facing stress, relationship struggles, overwhelming emotions, or simply want to grow, therapy provides a safe and supportive space for healing and self-discovery. It can help you break harmful patterns, process difficult emotions, improve communication, and build healthier relationships.

No two therapy journeys are the same. Together with your therapist, you’ll set personal goals and explore meaningful steps to reach them. Therapy may take place individually, in a group, or with your family—but in every format, your relationship with your therapist is private and built on trust.

Importantly, therapy is not just about what you talk about—it’s also about how you share your thoughts and feelings. The therapeutic process itself is a valuable part of your growth, helping you better understand yourself and empowering you to live a more intentional, connected life.

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
— Ephesians 4:2–3 (NIV)

This scripture reminds us that strong, healthy relationships are built on humility, patience, love, and a shared commitment to peace—principles that therapy can help nurture and strengthen in our daily lives

As a therapist, I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and authentic space for healing. I work with individuals, couples, and families to navigate life’s challenges using an integrative approach that nurtures mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. My goal is to help remove obstacles that stand in the way of personal growth and relational connection.

I hold a B.S. in Biological Science and Education from the University of North Carolina and the University of South Florida, an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. My clinical experience includes work with the Palm Beach Diocese, over a decade as an adjunct professor at Argosy University, and practicum training at Christ Fellowship Counseling Center.
