My journey into counseling and coaching is deeply rooted in my own story of healing. I’ve walked through seasons of grief, uncertainty, and emotional struggle—and it was in those very places that I encountered the power of God’s presence in a profound way.

As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I’ve had to navigate both the challenges and the gifts of deep emotional processing, heightened empathy, and the tendency to feel overwhelmed in a fast-moving world. I’ve come to see sensitivity not as a flaw, but as a God-given strength—one that can lead to insight, compassion, and spiritual depth when understood and nurtured.

There was a time when I didn’t have language for what I was experiencing. But through prayer, support, Scripture, theological study, and completing my Master’s in Christian Counseling (MACC), I began to experience deep restoration. I believe healing is not only possible—it’s part of God’s heart for us.

One verse that continues to anchor me is Isaiah 61:1:

“He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”

It reminds me that God is near to the brokenhearted, and that His desire is wholeness—not just spiritually, but emotionally and relationally.

Another passage I return to often is Romans 12:2:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

This beautifully captures the integration of faith and mental health—true transformation begins when we align our thoughts with God’s truth.

How I Integrate Faith, Emotion, and Relationship Science

In my work as a Certified Mental Health Coach, Christian Counselor, and Licensed Minister, I combine biblical wisdom with clinical insight—especially through the lens of attachment science and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). These models help individuals and couples understand how early relational experiences shape their emotional responses, patterns of connection, and sense of safety in relationships today.

Whether someone is feeling stuck in anxious or avoidant cycles, grieving unmet needs, or longing for more secure relationships, attachment-based work provides a pathway to healing and emotional security. When integrated with faith, this work becomes even more powerful—offering not only psychological tools but spiritual grounding and hope.

I also work specifically with Highly Sensitive People (HSP), helping them honor their emotional depth while building boundaries, resilience, and confidence in how God uniquely designed them.
