Faith is often where we turn when we hurt most deeply but even a strong faith doesn’t make us immune to anxiety, depression, or patterns we don’t understand. Many clients come to me believing they “should be okay” because they have God, yet still feel stuck, ashamed, or exhausted. In therapy, we create space to honor both your faith and your humanity. I believe healing happens when we invite grace and truth into our inner lives, not just to fix what’s broken, but to understand how our pain has shaped our sense of self, and how Christ invites us into deeper wholeness.

My approach is guided by verses like Romans 12:2 “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” and 2 Corinthians 12:9, where God’s strength meets us in our weakness. I help clients see how their wounds often mirror early family dynamics and internalized roles. The narcissistic client may feel far from God when admiration fades; the compliant one may conflate God’s love with constant self-denial. In session, we begin to name and reshape these distortions—gently, honestly, and with an eye toward the redemptive story God is telling in your life.
