Hello! I’m a counselor to fulfill a lifelong sense of compassion for others who are hurting. I’m grateful for years of varied counseling experience and for a surprise career detour as a wordsmith. Therapy with a wise Christian counselor was an essential part of my healing and maturity process back in my twenties and thirties, and I am passionate about offering the same to women in all stages of life.

BCMH exists because of a call not to just have a private practice but to open it up and create a space where colleagues can feel supported to do the work they feel called to do. An organizationally healthy, happy, mutually supportive environment defined by creativity, integrity, humility, professional rigor, unity in diversity of talents and backgrounds, and most of all joy.

I thank God for all the pain and joy, missteps and smart choices, grief and healing, deconstruction and reconstruction—all through persistent waves of grace. These things fuel my passion for helping others.
