I provide Telehealth services in California and Virginia.

After retiring from law enforcement (25 years) due to an on-duty injury, I floundered. As a single mom I had a lot to consider until God gave me a vision for a Christian based counseling center to help the underserved and marginalized communities, churches, and faith community. In 2014 I opened Encouragers Counseling & Training Centers (ECTC) in California a 501c3 nonprofit. In 2024 we opened our 3rd office in southern Virginia. In 2019 I opened a Professional Practice called Encouragers Family Counseling where I could work with individuals, couples, and families who have insurance.

My career in law enforcement gave me a greater understanding of trauma than most clinicians. Serving military families and Veterans and first responders is a passion of mine. In the 11 years since opening ECTC we have not lost anyone to suicide, a statistic I’m blessed to share.

I am an educator in my field training over 100 Masters level students seeking a degree in Psychology by partnering with over 13 universities nationwide. I am an author (Live Intentional: How to live the life you always wanted but never thought you could). I am mother and a grandmother of 8. I have truly been blessed.
