I believe healing happens when clinical wisdom and biblical truth work together. At Covenant Help Christian Counseling, I offer compassionate, Christ-centered care that honors God and supports emotional, relational, and spiritual restoration. Scripture reminds us that “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted” (Psalm 34:18), and this promise guides my work with individuals and families.

My counseling approach is grounded in the authority of Scripture and informed by evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy. I believe God’s Word speaks to the heart and mind, shaping how we understand thoughts, emotions, identity, and relationships. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind” (Romans 12:2) reflects the heart of the therapeutic process.

In sessions, biblical teachings are thoughtfully integrated with clinical tools. CBT helps clients examine unhelpful thought patterns in light of God’s truth. ACT encourages acceptance, surrender, and commitment to Christ-centered values, trusting God even in uncertainty (Proverbs 3:5–6). Narrative Therapy invites clients to view their stories through a redemptive lens, remembering that God is always at work bringing hope and meaning (Romans 8:28).

A guiding Scripture for my counseling work is Micah 6:8: “What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God?” This verse captures why biblical counseling matters to me—because true healing is not only about relief from pain, but about transformation that reflects God’s grace, truth, and love.
