I’m a provisionally licensed counselor and ordained Baptist minister with over 10 years of experience in pastoral ministry, including church leadership, prison chaplaincy, and hospital chaplaincy. I hold a Master of Divinity and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This unique combination allows me to offer therapy that is both clinically grounded and spiritually sensitive.

My personal walk with Christ has shaped everything I do as a counselor. I believe that healing happens when we bring both heart and truth into the counseling room—grace and guidance, Scripture and psychological expertise. One of the verses that continually anchors my work is Isaiah 42:3: “A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out.” I want clients to know that God meets them gently in their pain and walks with them toward wholeness.

I often integrate biblical teachings into sessions through prayer (when invited), relevant Scripture, and discussions about God’s purposes in suffering, identity, relationships, and hope. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, spiritual crisis, and life transitions. My approach is conversational, empathetic, and rooted in the belief that transformation is possible—because God is always at work.
