Philippians 2:3 says, “do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility, consider others better than yourself.” This is a guidepost for my counseling ministry. This is an opportunity to walk alongside my brothers and sisters and help them to find the peace that surpasses all understanding, which is one of the many gifts God has given us (Philippians 4:7). Learning to remember the promises that God has given us empowers us to be able to persevere in what this life throws at us. Sometimes it can be unbearable to navigate the everyday challenges that are encountered. My goal as a counselor is to be able to be present with you and help you to become the best version of yourself in Christ.
