My personal walk with God profoundly shapes how I approach my role as a therapist. Having experienced God’s grace, compassion, and steadiness throughout challenging seasons of my life, I bring those same qualities into the therapeutic space. I believe therapy can be a sacred environment where healing, truth, and transformation unfold.

While I tailor my interventions to each client, two foundational approaches consistently guide my work: Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): both of which align naturally with Christian principles.

From a Person-Centered perspective, I seek to create a therapeutic environment grounded in unconditional positive regard, genuineness, and empathy, reflecting the fruit of the Spirit described in Galatians 5:22–23 (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control). I aim to provide a regulated, non-judgmental, and steady presence that supports clients navigating distress, confusion, or emotional overwhelm.

Through a CBT framework, I help clients explore how their thoughts shape their emotional and behavioral patterns. This work parallels biblical teachings on the renewal of the mind, such as Romans 12:2 (“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind”), 2 Corinthians 10:5 (“We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ”), and Proverbs 23:7 (“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he”). Using collaborative dialogue and structured interventions, I assist clients in identifying cognitive distortions, evaluating their beliefs, and developing healthier interpretations of their experiences.

Overall, I strive to provide a warm, respectful, and supportive therapeutic space where evidence-based practice and Christian values work together to promote growth, insight, and lasting change.
