My faith in Jesus Christ is not separate from who I am as a therapist—it is the foundation of who I am and how I serve others. I grew up in the church and have personally witnessed how mental health struggles can sometimes be misunderstood within Christian communities. Through my own experiences, God developed in me a passion for creating a space where people can openly address their emotional and mental health while knowing that seeking professional help does not mean they lack faith.

One scripture that guides both my life and my work is Romans 12:2: “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” This scripture beautifully connects with my work as a Certified CBT Clinician (CBT-C), as CBT helps individuals recognize and challenge unhealthy thought patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding. I believe biblical truth and evidence-based clinical care can work together to support meaningful change.

In sessions, I incorporate prayer, scripture, biblical principles, and conversations about faith based on each client’s needs and comfort level. I also use evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, to help clients address anxiety, trauma, emotional dysregulation, performance anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, and mood-related concerns.

My goal is to provide a serene, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can be honest about both their struggles and their faith. I believe God cares about the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and that therapy can be a place where clinical support and biblical truth come together as clients pursue healing, growth, and a deeper understanding of their identity and purpose in Christ.
