While growing up in a Christian home, my spiritual journey did not really begin until I experienced the challenges of adult life.  It is in the hard places in which we can learn to lean in, experience God’s great provision and grow.  Life is journey of sanctification. God can use every moment and we can learn to have open eyes and ears to respond to His direction. I love God’s word!  It is His word that is the foundation for how I live and work.  One of my favorite verses is Isaiah 50:4.  While this scripture is speaking about our Messiah Jesus, I too pray that I would have speech submitted to the truth of God’s word.  That my speech would be deeply rooted in relationship and that it would sustain, uphold, encourage and edify the weary one while glorifying God.

I have a collaborative counseling style reflecting a relationship focused approach utilizing Cognitive Behavioral strategies.  I counsel with a holistic focus and will encourage you to explore and build a deeper understanding of yourself and others, care for your physical well-being and develop a greater awareness of your relationship with God and His good purposes.  While faith is the foundation for my services, I am respectful to understand your needs and help you work towards your specific counseling goals.
