Roberta is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience. Roberta earned a B.A. in Psychology, graduating Cum Laude from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, and a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Siena Heights University where she was also honored with the Exemplary Student Award.

Roberta is a Certified Biblical Counselor for those preferring a faith-based approach. She also specializes in working with partners of persons with problematic sexual behavior, and is part of a limited and uniquely qualified group of therapists, (The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists), who are trained in the APSATS Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model.

Roberta has provided therapeutic treatment as a Psychotherapist working in a private practice, a family and adolescent center, group practices, working with individuals and couples with a broad range of issues and a center specializing in work with children and adolescents with serious emotional impairments.
