A big part of my calling to this work comes from my own story. Growing up in a Jamaican household, immigrating to the U.S., and navigating complex family dynamics shaped my heart for helping others heal. My Christian faith plays a central role in how I show up in the therapy room—rooted in compassion, truth, and the belief that healing is possible. Scriptures like “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3) and “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2) guide both my life and my approach to counseling. For clients who desire it, I integrate Biblical wisdom, spiritual reflection, prayer, and themes of grace, identity, and purpose in a gentle, non-pressuring way.

Many of my clients come to me when they’re overwhelmed by family dynamics, healing from emotionally immature parents, navigating the transition into parenthood, or learning how to thrive in blended, multicultural, or faith-influenced relationships. Together, we slow things down, explore what’s underneath the stress, and create new patterns that bring peace, confidence, and emotional safety.
