I became a follower of Christ in college and have felt called to many different helping roles over the past 35 years—pastor, church planter, chaplain, social worker, and counselor.  I enjoy helping people find hope, purpose, and healing.

I am glad you are caring for yourself or someone else by seeking growth and healing.  At times, we all find ourselves needing help or a greater sense of hope and purpose.  I believe we can overcome any obstacle as we tap into the Lord’s power, our skills and strengths, and seek guidance from evidence-based practices.  I will work with you to customize a plan to clarify and reach your goals, leading to lasting change.

I have successfully utilized various evidence-based practices in person and by Zoom.  My approaches include strength-based, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and compassionate Christian guidance to find helpful solutions.  These have proven beneficial for depression, anxiety, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), chronic pain, relationship issues, and addictions.  We often need help to reprocess memories or events that seem to get in our way or cause discomfort.

My favorite passage from the Bible says, “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!  He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us” (Ephesians 3.20 21, Message).
