I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who lives in north-central Wisconsin. I believe in the authority of the entire canonized Bible, and I love the Lord. In my over 20 years of professional practice, I have seen God impart His truth and healing to people in the midst of their darkest inner beliefs and memories.
I love working with people to trust the Almighty in areas of their lives where that trust was lacking, become free of strongholds, learn new skills to enhance their mental and spiritual health, and embrace their lives with joy and gratitude.
I incorporate faith into therapy sessions in ways that each individual client consents to and feels comfortable with. For some, it is prayer at the beginning or end of sessions. For some, it is referring to relevant Bible verses and discussing how they apply. For some, it is identifying choices and patterns that have resulted in a distanced relationship with God. And for some, it is asking God to show His truth and/or presence in the midst of painful life experiences.
