I’ve known Jesus since 1987. I spent a year with Youth with a Mission and am a graduate of Zion Bible Institute. My favorite verses that guide and inspire my counseling work are Jn 14:16:17 and 2 Cor 1:3-4. These are the basis of my business name, Paraclete Counseling. A Paraclete is someone who walks beside you and is translated Counselor, Comforter, Helper and Advocate. In John’s Gospel it refers to the Holy Spirit. I incorporate Biblical teaching into my therapy as is appropriate and Spirit led. Prov 15:22 says, “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.”
