In the Valley is where a Lily grows…. Valley’s are places that don’t offer much of the comforts we may have been accustomed to, places where we find it hard to take the next step not knowing what might be under it. How then does such a beautiful flower grow there?  Songs of Solomon 2:1 “I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys”.

I am committed to helping you navigate through an uncharted path with compassion and understanding.

I have sat with people both professionally and personally in hospitals, homes, and office settings giving me the unique perspective of what it is like to carry the weight of these experiences as you are walking through your journey.  How living this life is not well understood and can be met with well-meaning suggestions that feel like platitudes. Where emotions may be met with resistance. Where you may be thinking about what life was like before all of this…. or maybe what it will look like in the days ahead.  I understand and appreciate that we all can share similar and different feelings, that they will change over time, and that time itself is not what heals us.  Matthew 5:4 tells us “blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted”.  Jesus has called out and acknowledged the pain…., let us know that He gets it.  We are promised divine comfort through the Holy Spirit NOW and the future in Heaven.

When we work together, I will use proven clinical strategies combined with biblical principles and most humbly recognize we have three in the room, thanks to Jesus.  I feel so incredibly honored for the last 27 years of work with those who have allowed me to accompany them in their most vulnerable moments of the journey.
