My journey to obtain a degree and license in Professional Counseling started with what I believe was a call on my life.  In 2005, I quit my job in healthcare human resources to go to an integrated graduate school (Richmont Graduate University, Atlanta, GA) where we learned applied psychology and Christian theology together.  My desire is to do more than treat the symptoms of suffering; rather, my goal is to help clients encounter the Lord Jesus so they can have true transformation and healing.

Prior to accepting a client, I seek the Lord’s wisdom in prayer about my abilities (the combination of education, experience and skills that He has provided me the opportunity to receive) to serve the client well.  I also pray for wisdom and understanding from Him about my clients prior to and in between sessions.  I utilize Scripture and prayer in session as I feel led but only if my client provides permission.
