Romans 8:28-29 beautifully reveals that God is actively working to conform his people into the image of his Son while he is bringing all things together for his glory and the good of his people. I believe that the Bible is God’s holy, written Word that reveals God’s redemptive plan for humankind and how to be in a growing, connected relationship with him, ourselves, and others. While God’s Word is the highest authority for understanding truth and growing into Christ-likeness, I believe God has given us useful tools through his general revelation that can help us move forward in stuck areas of life. 

As a Christian who has the privilege of coming alongside God’s people and fellow image-bearers through the role of a Licensed Resident in Counseling, I engage in a holistic and collaborative approach to counseling where folks can curiously explore their concerns in a warm, safe relationship. My work with college-aged students has developed my ability to help folks who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship concerns. My overseas experiences as a missionary and service in the Church as a pastor’s wife has developed a passion for serving those feeling overwhelmed by caring for others. It is my privilege to work with folks who feel stuck and want to move forward.

My primary approaches to counseling include EMDR therapy, a highly effective trauma treatment, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy. I hope to help people experience a renewed sense of connection with the Lord, themselves, and others that helps them move forward in life.
