I  graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1974 with a BS in Elementary Education and in 2010 from Amberton University with an MA in Professional Counseling.  I am an LPC in Texas and is also a Certified Biblical Counselor through the Association of Biblical Counselors. I have recently become a Certified Associate Christian Life Coach.

Between degrees I reared a large family, taught elementary school, served as a children’s pastor, a jail chaplain, and Teen Court Coordinator.  For 13 years I served as a victim’s advocate at three police departments. I have been counseling since 2011 and in private practice since 2014.  I have specialized in trauma informed care for victims of sexual abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence and well as marriage and parenting.
