I began my faith journey at the age of nine and came to accept Christ as my savior at the age of 18. I felt called to counsel young people and have now branched out to working with all ages. I spent almost 30 years in the public schools. I was not able to share my faith there, although I had a lovely career there as a school social worker. One of my favorite things about my online counseling practice is that I am able to walk alongside other Christians and openly share my faith. I feel that the addition of prayer, sharing scripture and hearing about about others faith journeys has been a huge blessing. This has enhanced the holistic approach that I enjoy providing.
