Thank you for seeking to learn about me as a therapist. As a born-again Christian, I believe in the truth and authority of God’s word and that it is living and active in our lives when we seek Christ and draw near to God. I have seen time and again how God has brought healing and hope to my own life. And I believe that He offers healing and hope to you as well. My approach as a therapist is to allow you, the client, to determine to what extent you want to talk about faith in your sessions. We take things at your pace as therapy is a process. My primary goal is to meet you where you are and to learn about your goals and your needs.

I am experienced in integrating Christian theology, truths from God’s word, with understanding of people’s mental, emotional, and spiritual selves. It is my belief that when God is invited in, that is where true growth and healing and wholeness can happen.

One of my favorite verses that guide my work is: Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
When we are in line with His purpose, God can ultimately bring good, growth, and redemption even out of suffering and trials.
