Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina, with a Master’s degree from NC State University and a Global Mental Health Trauma and Recovery Certificate from Harvard Medical School. With over 15 years of experience, I have lived cross-culturally and have worked in diverse settings, including emergency rooms, private practice, and non-profit organizations. As a Christian provider, I am passionate about supporting young adults and global workers struggling with feelings of sadness, anxiety, and uncertainty as they navigate life transitions and seek direction.
I accepted Christ in my heart as a child, lived in Mexico as a missionary and cross-culturally in a mostly foreign born apartment complex for two years in my city to do relationship ministry. My favorite scripture
In our first session, I will take the time to get to know you and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges you’re facing. Together, we will identify key goals and create a personalized plan to guide our future sessions. I may also provide some initial homework to help you apply what we discuss and continue making progress between sessions.
Over the past 15 years, I have found the greatest fulfillment in working with college students, young adults and global workers. In addition to providing therapy for this demographic, I have assisted with college ministry at my previous church and have spent the last three years supervising a team of young professionals and graduate interns at my previous job.
