Growing up in a Christian home, my life was built on a foundation of faith. Yet, behind the scenes, I struggled with a persistent, quiet whisper: “You are not good enough.” This sense of inadequacy, coupled with complex family relationships, led me into negative process behaviors—patterns of coping that left me feeling stuck and disconnected from the peace God promises.

My healing journey began when I stopped trying to earn my worth and started resting in the truth of Isaiah 43:1: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.” I realized that my identity wasn’t defined by my struggles or my family’s history, but by the One who “fearfully and wonderfully” made me (Psalm 139).

My Clinical Approach: Solution-Focused & Spirit-Led

In my practice, I don’t just want to talk about your problems; I want to help you walk into God’s solutions. I utilize Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), a practical and hope-filled approach that focuses on your strengths rather than your “brokenness.”

While we acknowledge the past, we do not live there. Instead, we follow the wisdom of Proverbs 3:5-6, learning to stop leaning on our own limited understanding of our pain and instead trusting the Lord to make our paths straight.

In our sessions, you can expect:

A Strengths-Based Perspective: We identify the God-given resilience you already possess to overcome negative behaviors.

Forward-Moving Goals: We use “Scaling Questions” and the “Miracle Question” to visualize what a life redeemed and empowered by the Holy Spirit actually looks like for you.

Biblical Integration: We replace the lies of “not being enough” with the truth of your value in Christ, using Scripture as our ultimate compass.

My Hope for You

I am a “wounded healer” who knows what it’s like to feel lost in the middle of a pews-and-church-life. Whether you are navigating complicated family dynamics or trying to break free from old habits, my goal is to help you hear the Father calling you by name. You are not your problem; you are a child of God with a bright future ahead.
