I believe the only way to find deep contentment in our life is when we are connected to our Creator and striving to live a life that glorifies Him. Many lies in our world try to convince us that the path to happiness is more self-care and focusing on doing what makes us happy. What if doing what makes us happy doesn’t align with someone else’s path to happiness? What if, no matter what we do, we can’t seem to find happiness? We need a better focus. When we focus on God and the wisdom He demonstrated in Jesus, we can take a deep breath of relief. We don’t need to rely on ourselves. We don’t need to just work a little harder. The answer isn’t found in us. We can rely on the One who created us and knows us completely. He is the author and perfecter of our faith. He has provided his Spirit to live in us and guide us. And He has provided people to encourage us and point us to Him. I would be honored to be an encourager in your village and to share resources to help you pursue a fulfilling life.
