In my work as a counselor, my faith is the foundation that guides how I support and care for others. I believe God created us as whole beings mind, body, and spirit and mental health is an important part of our overall well-being. My personal testimony and journey have taught me that healing often happens when clinical support and spiritual truth come together.

Several scriptures shape the way I approach therapy. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18) reminds me that emotional pain matters and that no one walks through it alone. “Do not be anxious about anything…” (Philippians 4:6–7) guides conversations about anxiety, helping clients learn practical coping skills while anchoring their hearts in peace. And “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2) reflects the therapeutic process challenging thoughts, building resilience, and fostering hope.

When appropriate and desired by the client, I incorporate Biblical principles such as forgiveness, identity in Christ, boundaries, purpose, and hope into sessions. This may look like integrating prayer, scripture reflection, values-based goal setting, or reframing struggles through a faith perspective alongside evidence-based clinical tools.

My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where individuals can process their experiences, strengthen their mental health, and reconnect with the truth that they are seen, valued, and never alone in their journey toward healing.
