Greetings in the Name of Jesus! As one who has experienced the redemptive work of Christ in my own life and His lavish grace in restoration, I know the power and place of the Word of God and the role of the Holy Spirit in conforming believers to the image of Christ.   Life experiences and God’s guiding hand have prepared me to help others experience spiritual, emotional, and trauma-related healing.  I have extensive “real-life experience in the corporate world and a solid educational background, including a double major BA in history and philosophy, master’s degrees in theology and counseling, and an ABD in Medieval Mediterranean history.   As a senior lecturer in history at Georgia Southern University and temporary director of the religious studies minor, I taught courses in both history (including several related to church history and the ancient near east) and biblical studies (OT, NT, Abrahamic Traditions, World Religions, etc.).  She has retired from teaching because of God’s leading in a new direction.

That new direction was a career in mental health counseling.  As a result of God’s leading and provision, Metamorphos Transformational Ministries, Inc., a non-profit counseling and teaching ministry, was born.  Metamorphos is dedicated to fulfilling the mandates of Romans 12:2 and 1 Thessalonians 5:14-15 by means of Biblically sound, Spirit-led, and neuro-psychologically-informed, licensed mental health counseling for the underserved population of Bulloch and surrounding counties.  Metamorphos was created to address the spiritual and mental health needs of the underserved people of Bulloch and surrounding counties in Southeast Georgia. Metamorphos is funded by sponsorships, grants, and private pay clients who benefit from our ministry.
