Since coming to Christ at age 16, it has been my passion to share God’s love, truth, and grace with others. This passion led me to pursue degrees in social work and pastoral counseling, including two master’s degrees and a doctoral degree. In addition to my clinical work, I also teach counseling skills to graduate students at a Christian University. I believe that integrating biblical principles and evidence-supported practices in cooperation with the Holy Spirit as the counselor and healer leads to the greatest change. As a Christian counselor and clinician with over 25 years of experience, my first goal is to understand you, your circumstances, and your journey to help you achieve your goals and improve your well-being. My areas of specialty practice include working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, guilt, addiction, grief and loss, and challenges related to past hurts, trauma, life transitions, and relationship and family problems. My treatment approaches include cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, person-centered, and trauma-informed strategies, among others, informed by a person-in-environment approach. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you toward greater healing, hope, and a brighter future.
