Hello and Welcome,
I’m Claire. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating various adverse experiences including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I’m a committed Christian who will bring the best evidence-based practices into our work together to help inform, challenge, and guide you to wholeness and healing. As you already know, life is a mix of beautiful and painful experiences; consequently, you’ve developed strengths and resources that will enable you to find a better path forward. We’ll use those to help you move toward your goals.
My practice approach is eclectic, drawing from attachment, psychodynamic, and interpersonal theory among others. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as other modalities.
I’m a Florida native but have lived all over the country due to my husband’s military career. Travel enhanced my appreciation for the diverse experiences that shape lives and make us uniquely created, each in the image of God. I’m married and have three children who I genuinely enjoy as adults. When not working, equipped with only a dream and a shovel, I can usually be found trying to rework and craft the ultimate garden space. On Sundays, I can be spotted singing (poorly but with enthusiasm;) in my church choir.
Reach out and take advantage of the 15 minute complimentary consultation offer to see if I may be able to help you feel better today.
