Do life’s adversities have you stressed, discontent, and unable to experience joy? Are you having trouble finding peace in the midst of challenges in your life? Our struggles are real, and we all have them, both personally and in relationships. Our own searches for peace can come up empty, making us wonder if we can ever really have it. We see the tough life stuff throughout scripture, how God has brought people through some really hard times. He promises to be there for us and wants us to trust Him, but it can be hard. I look forward to helping you find His peace and contentment!

Most of my career has been working in community mental health centers with people of all ages, from all walks of life. I have worked extensively with children of all ages, families, and adults, including work in school settings. For seventeen years I have worked in various roles with incarcerated juveniles. I have always enjoyed all of my clients, no matter their background or beliefs. I have noticed without exception, however, that when I am able to use scripture within therapy, my clients have benefitted more.

Scripture is deep and nourishing. It provides true guidance for the soul, and most of all, it brings peace. It is my favorite therapy tool that produces true healing, and it fits with the types of therapy that I use. My over all therapy style is eclectic, meaning I use a variety of proven interventions. We will choose an intervention based on your needs.

I work with individuals of all ages, including young children, and provide biblically compliant parenting and family therapy. I have had extensive training and experience in attachment and trauma, along with anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues.
