I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was a young girl. My dad was a pastor, so I grew up immersed in the life of the church, learning early what it meant to follow Jesus. From a young age, I had a deep desire for my life to reflect service to the Lord. That calling has led me to serve in nearly every area of church and community life—from leading Bible studies to organizing outreach events. I even spent five years on church staff as a children’s minister, which was one of the most joy-filled and spiritually formative seasons of my life.

My love for helping others has always been rooted in my love for Christ. I believe God created each of us to know Him and to grow in relationship with Him. But sometimes, that growth is slowed or blocked by pain from the past, pressures in the present, or fear of the future. Counseling can be a sacred space where we bring those struggles into the light—where healing, freedom, and deeper spiritual connection can begin.

As a counselor, I use well-established therapeutic approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR, but I always filter those through the lens of faith. I believe that God is the ultimate healer and that His truth can illuminate and guide every part of the counseling process. Whether we are identifying and unburdening parts of ourselves that carry pain, or processing trauma through body-based techniques, I trust that the Holy Spirit is present and active in the work.

For clients who desire it, I incorporate prayer, Scripture, and spiritual reflection into our sessions. I am also available to walk gently with those who have experienced church hurt or spiritual confusion—offering space to grieve, question, and rebuild trust in a loving God.

One Scripture that guides my work is found in Isaiah 61:1-3—He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives… to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes

If you’re seeking a Christian counselor who honors your story, welcomes your questions, and gently helps you move toward healing and hope, I would be honored to walk with you. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions—or simply feeling stuck—I believe that God’s truth and love can bring wholeness and peace.
