Whenever I began my journey into the field of psychology, my intention was actually to move away from God. I believed that if I immersed myself deeply enough in study, I would eventually discover something that could replace my faith and give me a new sense of purpose. However, the further I went, the more I found God waiting there. It wasn’t until I heard Jungian analyst Robert Johnson say, “There is only one answer to the meaning of life, and that is to serve God,” that I finally stopped running.

Since recommitting to my faith, my approach to therapy has felt more grounded and authentic, resting on the foundation of my Christian worldview. Through my prior experience in the military and as a first responder, I have witnessed the realities of suffering, trauma, and the deep human need for hope in the midst of healing. These experiences have shaped an approach that attends to the whole person: the mind, the body, and the soul.

In sessions, I integrate Christian principles in a way that is respectful, collaborative, and attuned to each client’s comfort level. This may include reflecting on meaningful scripture, exploring dreams, or discussing how your faith has shaped your life and healing process.
