I became a marriage and family therapist largely due to my understanding that God created us for relationship. The greatest command, to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, blends seamlessly into the second greatest command: to love our neighbors as ourselves. Scripture teaches us how to thrive in our marriages, families, and close personal relationships; the Holy Spirit is what enables us to live according to these teachings in our daily lives. When we love as Jesus loves, we walk out our worship of the Lord through our engagement with the people around us. The Lord has blessed me with a godly husband and three beautiful children. My work with individuals, couples, and families is one way I live out my worship for the Lord, seeking to help others find joy and strength in their family lives just as I’ve been so fortunate to experience.
