I grew up in the church, in a family of pastors and teachers. I have even done my own mission work and would love to do more. I remember watching me dad write and practice his sermons. My siblings and I grew up performing in front of church audiences.   I wanted to grow up and be like me daddy. But I remember the day I kneeled as a girl and gave my heart to Jesus. That was the beginning of my personal journey of striving to become more like Heavenly Abba. I am so humbled and grateful for His love and grace that covers my sin. As humans we all have fallen and continue to fall, we cannot change our brokenness. But Christ died on the cross our brokenness and His mercies are new every morning, so we get to accept His grace and keep trying to do better and improve our likeness to His image. How beautiful a blessing is that!

I have founded my counseling practice on John 13:34 where Jesus is speaking to the disciples: “A new commandment I give you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.”  I try to live and practice according to this commandment by loving others as God loves me. I am here for you. I will listen and be here to support you. My practice is rooted in compassion and connection, and I tailor our work together to meet your unique needs.

Your struggles do not define you but can be part of the path toward healing and wholeness.  I am honored to walk beside my clients on that path. I still believe in the sorority of Christian women and bring the lived experience of being a mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, and I continue to walk my own path of growth as a Christian woman in today’s world. I feel that to be vital in order to support the unique female experience. I know that God is the ultimate healer, and faith is a powerful tool on the road to wellness.
