Wow!!! I’m so glad you’re here! Hello there and Thank you for pausing to learn more about myself and Redeeming the Time Family Counseling Services. I’m Brittney Williamson, M. Ed., LPC founder of Redeeming the Time Family Counseling Services.

I knows it is because of my strong Christian faith that I am passionate about people and their purposes. I believe establishing healthy and secure relationships is an indispensable attribute in helping people come to a place of hope and healing. I believe this because I have experienced this and watch others experience this in their own lives too. Throughout my life, I know it is because of my relationship with Jesus Christ and others in the Body of Christ that have helped me overcome those turbulent moments of anxiety, rejection, trauma, and betrayal.

Redeeming the Time Family Counseling Services is founded on Ephesians 5:15-16, “Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. ” If I am honest, it’s the whole chapter of Ephesians 5 into chapter 6; but these two verses sum it up. At Redeeming the Time we are equipping those we help with tools they need to come to experience healing holistically and to walk as wise; showing them how Christ’s redeems the time.

In my sessions one will find that I  counsel from Attachment-Based Therapies and Emotionally Focused Therapy integrated with Christian principles and values to help my clients obtain their goals and experience healing holistically. Knowing there can be multiple factors that directly or indirectly affect the security of a relationship; I’m an Advanced Trained Certified Basic Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Practitioner, who also provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ADHD Therapy, Anxiety Therapies, Play Therapy, and Career Counseling to her clients.

Whether you are a child, teenager, adult, or family (biological, foster-adopt and/or blended), I delight in meeting you where you are, building a healthy therapeutic relationship with you, and equipping you with the tools you need to walk confidently in fulfilling the purpose that Christ has for you.
