Ashley Steltz, LCSW, is the founder of New Hope Counseling and brings over a decade of
clinical experience to her practice. A graduate of Loyola University Chicago, Ashley spent
10 years working with Iraq and Afghanistan veterans at the Veterans Administration
Hospital in the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Clinic. She specializes in treating trauma,
anxiety, grief, depression, and various life stressors. She also has experience in couples
therapy for relationship difficulties.

In addition to her extensive experience, Ashley holds certifications in pastoral counseling,
Cognitive Processing Therapy, and is a Certified Grief Specialist. She is in the process of being trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her therapeutic approach
incorporates a range of evidence-based treatment modalities, personalized to meet the
unique needs and goals of each client, while integrating an Apostolic biblical perspective.

She is endorsed by the UPCI through the Center For Apostolic Counseling.
