Hey my name is Andy Simon. I grew up in the church, and came to know the Lord at an early age, but grew significantly in my faith in my early 30’s due to some challenging life circumstances that, in turn, led me to seek a career in helping others through counseling. While I do not force my faith beliefs on anyone, I do view life through a Christian worldview and believe that if clients wish to incorporate their faith into counseling, I am equipped to help them view their circumstances Biblically and seek truths grounded in their beliefs. One passage of scripture that is significant to me, and it is also one of my favorite worship songs, is Isaiah 43, which reminds us that no matter what our circumstances are currently, God promises to be near to us and present in our struggles.

​I graduated with my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2023 and previously from the University of Georgia with undergraduate degrees in history and social studies education. I am available for new clients, working with individuals, couples and families, and utilize a variety of different strategies to assist clients, but pull primarily from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy.

I live locally in Bogart with my wife and three children and am practicing under the supervision of Patricia Smith, LPC-CS.
