Hello! I am Amy Vitacolonna,

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Washington State University and a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University in Arizona. I specialize in the Faith-based attachment focused approach to counseling. Trauma is not what happens to you, but how they can make sense of it. By integrating Jesus into the counseling session you can find deeper healing and support that in a safe environment. I have written additional curriculum and worksheets to help clinicians facilitate this experience with their clients because it is so effective for all clients.  It is my passion to help you strengthen your walk with Jesus because he is our true healer.  I use many scriptures to help you to connect, communicate, and bring Jesus with you.  He is always here for you, but sometimes our pain or struggles can keep us from feeling his presence.  I want to help you work through this.. In addition to this specialty I have 25+ years of experience in social services, ministry, business, and counseling related fields. I have taken extensive training in EMDR therapy and I am currently an Approved Consultant through EMDRIA. I am currently licensed as an LPC in Texas, and an LMHC in Washington State and approved LPC in Florida.
